I have got to start getting to bed earlier. Last night we were up past midnight, even though I knew I had to get up at 6:30 to be ready in time to catch the bus for my 8:30 class. When 6:30 rolled around I knew there was no way I was getting out of bed yet, so I re-set the alarm for 7:30 and drove to class instead. I keep saying I’m going to stop driving and start taking the bus, but it’s just so much more convenient to drive myself that I can’t seem to break the habit.
I got home at 10:30, and the rest of the day was more or less uneventful. Tage slept away most of the afternoon and I sat here in the computer chair with him in my lap and read some in my book (Alkemisten) and surfed a little bit here and there. I just finished part one in the book, which was my assignment for Wednesday, and so far it’s pretty good. I wasn’t really sure what to expect since I hadn’t really heard much about it, but based on what I’ve read so far, I would definitely recommend it.
My other major accomplishment of the day was to add a recipe page to my links at the side. So far it’s not much, but I did post the recipes for the Mississippi Mud Pie and the kolakakor that I made the other day. One of these days I’ll get around to prettying up the linked pages, but I’m not much of a web designer, so it might be a while.
Yummy! That Mississippi mudpie seems like an excellent recepie. I wouldn’t dare to calculate the calories though… About 2000 calories for a VERY small piece…

Yeah, I’m following the Weight Watchers points system, and I didn’t even bother counting points when I made this! I just did a quick tally in my head, and the whole cake must be like 200 points or something (I have 28 allotted for one day)!
The good (?!) thing is that the cake is so rich that you really can’t eat much at one time. 🙂
I still use your macaroni and cheese recipe that I printed out years ago!
That was me!
Oh yeah! I forgot about the macaroni and cheese! I should make that sometime — it’s been a while. 🙂
