I’m filled with energy this morning! I walked Lydia to school and Asbjørn and I continued on a long-ish walk. Then I came home and took a shower and started some laundry. Tage and Olof were still asleep, so Asbjørn, Åsa, and I walked to the store to buy some fil. When we got back around 9:30, Olof was up, but Tage was still asleep. I ate a bowl of fil with müsli then started cleaning a bit. Now I’m ready to vacuum, but Tage is still asleep (it’s almost 11am!), and I don’t want to wake him so I’ve got to hold off on that, and on loading the dishwasher as well, since the dishwasher is about ten feet from the bedroom door. I don’t know why he’s sleeping so long, but he was an absolute nightmare to get into bed last night, so maybe he wore himself out screaming and thrashing around.

The guy who’s adopting Mette called last night and said that they wanted to come up today to pick her up instead of Sunday, if that was okay with us. He said that he’d been out buying dog treats and a new leash, and it sounds like he’s pretty excited to have her. I really hope they get on okay when they meet later this afternoon. I’ve gathered up her registration and vaccination papers and have her stuff ready to go when they get here. I’m actually a little excited for her to be able to have the kind of life she deserves rather than having to be miserable here with kids who drive her crazy. She really is a wonderful little dog, and I want her to be somewhere where she’s happy.

I spent a couple of hours last night updating the kids’ webpages with new pictures. It had been a while since I’d done them, so there are three new pages of Tage pictures. I made only one new page for Lydia, since I’d updated her page more recently, plus she’s still in her “don’t take my picture” phase, so I don’t get as much to work with from her these days.
