Mette

The changing hands of Mette went off extremely well, I’m pleased to report. Her new family is a very nice couple with an adolescent son, and I think they’ll all be happy together. She took to them right away, which is something I’ve never seen her do with anyone. She didn’t even bark when they drove up, nor when they came into the house, which is behavior I’d never seen from her. I like to think that’s a very good sign.

We all sat and talked and they got acquainted with Mette, and she with them, for about a half-hour before they set off on the long trip home. They took her for a short walk in the park next-door before they left, and she seemed more than happy to go with them. She hopped right in the car when they opened the door and didn’t act nervous or uneasy at all. I got a very good feeling about these people from the moment I saw them and that feeling only intensified as we got to know them a little bit better.

I think this has turned out very well for everyone and I’m so happy she’s found a new family who will be able to give her what she needs.

  1. I am happy that this was resolved for you. Mette is such a lucky dog to have found a new home …it is a huge relief for all of you. I am sure it is feeling more peaceful without all the tension in that area. Love Andrea
