We’re having some sort of heat wave here — the temperatures have been around 10°C for the past couple of days. Yes, that’s ten degrees above zero. It’s positively balmy. Actually, it’s not as nice as it might be because the high temperatures are turning our mountains of accumulated snow into a sloppy, slushy mess, and navigating the streets and sidewalks in their present state is no mean feat.

As I mentioned I would do, I went to Helana’s house yesterday for fika with her and Debbie. We had delicious cinnamon buns (yes, Helena, they were good!) and cheesecake, and I even came home with leftovers which were much appreciated by my family. I had such a good time yesterday. I always laugh so hard when we’re together. I need to get out more often (although I must get my Swedish driver’s license, because taking the bus is just no fun).
