We had our second appointment with the midwife yesterday, and all looks well. We got to hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time, which was something of an anti-climax after seeing the baby on the ultrasound and feeling it kick the living daylights out of my bladder for the past few weeks, but I won’t complain. Also, earlier this evening Olof felt the baby move for the first time, which is always exciting, no matter how many times you’re pregnant. I’m really looking and feeling pregnant now, and I’m starting to feel the first pangs of impatience to meet the new little one.

Gestation update

I was always up to date on your past pregnancies, but I cannot for the life of me remember when you are DUE! Ack! Half the time I forget you are pregnant. What a bad friend I am!
You are totally not a bad friend — half the time *I* forget I’m pregnant! Ha!
Anyway, I’m due February 13, so it’s still quite a ways off.
Wow, actually that is SOON! For some reason I was thinking it was April! Wow! Okay, well I counted and it’s still 4 months left. Don’t know why Feb. felt like it was just around the corner. 😀
