Here, kitty, kitty

We’ve had a rough couple of months where our cats are concerned. First, Moa got really sick in May, and I really thought she might not make it. The vet suspected that she had the feline leukemia virus, but after a course of antibiotics she got better and tested negative for the virus. Then, a few weeks later, Åsa disappeared. We usually don’t go longer than a few hours at a time without seeing her, and we always bring her in at night, so we were getting pretty worried when we didn’t see her for three or four days. On the fifth day she turned up, finally, looking a bit thin but otherwise none the worse for the experience. Now Ola’s gone missing. It’s been a week since we’ve seen him, and I fear that we may not get lucky a third time. He’s a friendly sort who likes to go visiting, so I’m hoping that he just wandered off and was taken in by someone else. We’ve put up a flyer outside the grocery store, so maybe someone will see it and give us a call. Cats do take it in their heads sometimes to up and move house, and that may be what he’s done. I do want him back, of course, but what I want most is to know that he’s okay. I hate not knowing what’s happened to him.
