I am so glad I’m not a Red Sox fan. That game last night would have given me a heart attack. I’m seriously having sympathy pains for all the Sox fans right now … to be sooooo close, then lose it in extra innings is just torture. I guess there are worse things than having your team choke in the post-season every year. At least my hopes for the Braves weren’t raised that high.
So it’s going to be the Marlins and the Yankess in the World Series. I may just stay up late to watch a game or two. I’m rooting for the Marlins, of course (almost always pull for the N.L., plus I hate the Yankess–with the exception of Roger Clemens–and love Pudge Rodriguez). The Series this year is better than last year, at least. I really couldn’t bring myself to care one way or the other last year. I guess the Diamondbacks haven’t been around long enough yet for me to consider them a “real” team.
Well, I guess baseball talk is all I have for the moment. It’s cold and windy outside, and I need to go let the cat in, because I can see through the window that she’s freezing and wants to come inside where it’s (sort of) warm.
