I was looking through some of my old journal entries from when I was pregnant with Tage, and the first time I posted then about being tired of being pregnant was July 19, just over a month before I was due. As it turned out, he came eleven days ahead of schedule, which was not a day too soon for me.

This time I have even less patience, and I’ve been feeling restless and uncomfortable and bored with pregnancy since at least a month or two ago, and as of today I’m still two months away from my “official” due date. My own calculations put me due nine days ahead of the date my midwife has in her chart, and with any luck this baby will follow the examples of Lydia and Tage and come even earlier. It goes without saying that I want and expect to go full term, but I’d be thrilled to go into labor as soon as I reach 37 weeks in late June.
