I got up this morning … er, afternoon, to a wonderful package in the mail. As I’ve done for a little over a year now, I’m participating in a “Secret Someone” exchange with a group of online friends, and today I got the absolute best package from my Secret Someone — two one-pound bags of strawberry Twizzlers and “William Wegman’s Puppies” Baby Book. I have a big, big love for William Wegman’s photography, we didn’t have a baby book yet, and I hadn’t seen this particular one, so all in all this was one of the best surprise presents I’ve ever gotten. It’s just too perfect!

Oh, and the big supply of Twizzlers is nothing to sneeze at, either — I promptly stashed the bags away from prying eyes and grabbing hands, and we’ll be on a strict Twizzlers ration for some time to come.
