Have I ever told you that I make the best chocolate chip cookies in the world? No? You might think that you make the best, or that your mother or grandmother or even Mrs. Fields does, but you’d be wrong. It’s me — I make the best ones. There’s a secret, you see, and because I’m in a generous mood I’ll share it with you. It’s brown sugar. Yep, that’s it, brown sugar. I substitute brown sugar for all of the white sugar in the recipe, and it adds an extra measure of yumminess. So, now you know.
My aforementioned generous mood is almost entirely the result of having finally, finally, reached the halfway mark in my NaNo novel. My word count, as of a half-hour ago, stands at no less than 25,010 words. It’s all downhill from here, folks. Not only that, but I’m writing a damn fine book if I do say so myself. And I do; oh, yes, I do.
And we’re having cheese tortellini for dinner. It’s all good.
So when do we get to read a sample of the masterpiece???
Ian
I’ll post a link that “that other place.” 🙂
Oh, and unfortunately I do get a fair bit of spam here. Woe, woe is me.
