Not that it got a chance to be much of a secret, considering that I could keep it to myself for only two days (and then only moderately successfully), but here you have it: I’m pregnant! I figure I’m due mid-July, so it’s still early days yet, but where I come from we like to shout this kind of news from the rooftops as soon as the second line shows up in the little test window.
The news was met with varying degrees of surprise, delight, and dismay, but I think the best reaction came from Lydia, who said, “Oh, good. Now everything is almost all about us again.” She likes to be the center of attention, that one, if only by association.
Oh how wonderful!!! Congratulations. Am I right in remembering that Swedes tend to be more reserved about pregnancy congratulations than Americans? Well, just in case, here’s a super loud WHOOOPPPPEEEEEE for you from this little American.
Congratulations!! That is wonderful news, I am so happy for you! *biiiig hugs*
Ooooh! Congratulations!
Here in sweden everything is so hush-hush. I don’t know anybody who has told it on my work before they were almost 5 months pregnant…
Love Kaja
A big hearty congratulations to you!! All I can say is that you’re a much braver woman than I am (okay, maybe you just have much more energy). I can’t imagine having another child right now – even though our children are alike in ages. You go girl!!
