It’s starting to feel a little ridiculous that I still haven’t posted a baby announcement. To think that I was so worried the baby would come before the new year, or that his/her birth would interrupt Leslie’s visit last week. Hah!

So, assuming that nothing happens in the wee hours of tomorrow morning–and really, that’s pretty much what I’ve got to assume these days–we have an appointment with the midwife tomorrow afternoon. They’re not nearly so eager to induce over here as they are in the States (something for which I’m actually grateful, even almost a week past my due date), so I expect it will be uneventful. I think they will schedule me in for a doctor’s appointment next week, just to make sure everything’s checking out okay, but otherwise, waiting is still the name of the game.
