Tage is a tooth-brushing maniac these days. He’s so obsessed with his toothbrush that I swear he must have the cleanest teeth of any toddler in town. Actually, the truth is he’s discovered that Lydia’s Bugs Bunny toothpaste is pretty darn tasty and he mostly just sucks it off the toothbrush for a couple of minutes before he begs for more.* At least his breath is minty fresh.
I’ve got a great new pair of pants that I really love and even the pink-loving fashionista approved them this morning (she told me at least a half-dozen times, “I think you look really good in those pants”), so I know they’re a “do.” I bought them last week at the Salvation Army thrift store for only 45kr (~$6) and they’re brand new. I love a good bargain almost as much as I love great pants.
Also among recent additions to my wardrobe were two new bras from LaRedoute. They were not nearly so cheap as the pants, but a bargain nonetheless as a good bra is worth its weight in gold. Seriously, LaRedoute is my new hero, at least where undergarments are concerned. Their bras run around 400kr each, but they’re comfortable and provide great support even for us well-endowed gals. Perhaps best of all, they come in a wide variety of pretty colors and styles, even in the large sizes. I’m never shopping anywhere else for bras. Before I discovered LaRedoute I don’t think I ever had even one bra that I truly loved — now I have five. My cup runneth over (haha, I couldn’t resist that pun … my cup runneth over because my cups no longer runneth over!)
That’s about all I have for this fine Saturday evening (besides there’s nothing like a boob joke to wrap up an entry).
*Yes, I do know that fluoride is toxic to humans and I let him consume only minute amounts of toothpaste.
You are funny. Nice boob joke. You make me laugh, I love you. Debi
