Two of Petra’s favorite ways to entertain herself are walking with her eyes closed and walking while spinning around in circles. I can’t be sure, but I think she was engaged in one or the other last night when she tripped over a big box containing Lydia’s old Barbie dolls and ended up with the sharp-ish corner just millimeters from her eye. I’d like to think she learned a lesson about watching where she’s going, but what are the chances?
Sounds like something I would do when I was little. I also walked backwards all the way to pre-school because “I was bored with walking the regular way” 🙂
