One of the (admittedly few) drawbacks to Brynja’s having come along a little sooner than we would have planned–we usually set our sights on summer babies, don’tcha know–is that she’s outgrowing the infant carseat before Petra’s ready to move up from the rear-facing toddler seat. For the past few weeks we haven’t gone anywhere in the car with both Brynja and Petra, so it’s been no trouble for them to be using the same seat, but that situation obviously won’t hold indefinitely, which means I’ve been spending some time this afternoon reading carseat reviews and trying to decide which we’ll buy. So far it looks like we’ll probably get another of the one we already have, as it’s a pretty high-rated model, but we’ll have to wait until we’re at the store to make a final decision.
Along the same lines, we’ve had to–or will have to–buy many more baby clothes for Brynja than I’d ever anticipated having to buy for a fourth child. Everything we have is either too big or too small for the season, which doesn’t matter for everything, but is a problem when it comes to summer clothes and winter wear. The good news is, we should have all our bases covered if a number five ever comes along.
So a no 5 is on the table again?! 🙂
Nah, not really … but until one of us does something drastic, anything is possible!
Plus any of your friends who might have kids know where to come if they ever need anything in a few years. 😉
