It’s starting to get pretty cold at night now, and the daytime temperature has been hovering right around freezing for the past couple of days.  Olof put the winter tires on the car yesterday, and I’ve been half expecting to see snow every morning when I get up, but so far we’ve been blessed with clear, blue skies and not a single snowflake.  I’m studiously avoiding the weather report all the same;  if I know when it’s coming, I’ll just spend these last few autumn days in dread, instead of enjoying the wonder that is fall.
