Got a call a few hours ago that Counting Crows have canceled their concert next month.  In fact, they canceled all of their Scandinavian dates.  Canceled!  GAH!

No word on why, not even any real speculation on the official message board.  The Stockholm concert was sold out, and they’re still doing some of their scheduled European shows, so it can’t be poor ticket sales.  Any which way, it’s a bummer.

What’s more, we spent a few hundred bucks on non-refundable airline tickets and a hotel room, plus got Olof’s mom to take time off work to babysit, so now it looks like we’re going to be making a whirlwind trip to Stockholm–with a baby in tow–without anything on the agenda.  At least the hotel is nice (with wireless internet!), so even if we just end up hanging around there it won’t be so bad.
