Today is Olof’s and my fifth wedding anniversary.  It feels like it should be more than five years ago we got married (in a good way, I mean), but at any rate, we’re off to a good start.  He arranged for him mom to come over and stay with the kids this evening so that we could go to town on our own to have dinner and do a little shopping.  We don’t get out very much by ourselves, and though it’s not usually something I miss, it is nice to be able to focus only on each other for a little while.  Even nicer, when we got home, both of the younger kids were asleep on the couch, and Lydia was just getting ready to watch a TV show upstairs, so we got to enjoy another hour or so of peace and quiet.  I can’t overstate the luxury of that, in this full house.
