Olof was back to work today, which was much less fun for the rest of us than the previous eleven days had been. I’d say it was probably less fun for him as well, but he’s one of those lucky souls who actually enjoys his work. Not only that, but he had a good excuse to stay in the warm house while I took the kids out to play on my own. I know it’s another mark against me in the good mother wars, but if I’m being honest, I’ll admit that my kids don’t get out so much as they might like in the winter. Now that Tage’s older, he can go out with Lydia on his own, but if Petra wants to go, too, I’ve got to follow along. And much to her dismay, there’s a limit to how much standing around in the snow and cold that I can take, and that limit is about a half-hour per day. Ah, well … I suppose a half-hour is better than nothing.

Picked the wrong part of Sweden to live in! 😉
Yeah, no kidding! Or maybe even the wrong part of the world! 😀
