If you’ve been reading for any length of time, you’ve doubtless noticed that I post many, many more pictures of my younger two kids than I do of my eldest, Lydia. This is not because Lydia is any less cute than her siblings–quite the opposite, in fact–but rather due to her being in the third or fourth year of a vehement “don’t take my picture” phase. Yesterday, however, I did manage to get some cute pictures of her wearing a new outfit my mom sent for her, and in this one she’s even smiling! (I won’t tell you what I said to her to put that look of genuine amusement on her face, but believe me when I say it took some doing.)
