Recovering from this cold has been a one-step-forward-two-steps-back sort of deal, and all of us–with the exception of Lydia, who somehow avoided it altogether–are still in various stages of sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head-ing, fever-ing, and so on. Tage’s missed as much pre-school as he’s attended in the past couple of weeks, and with next week being sportlov (winter break), it’ll be nearly two more weeks before he goes back. Even though he’s too sick to go to school, however, he’s plenty well enough to wreak all sorts of havoc around here. It’s quite possible that I’ll have to sedate him if we’re both to last out the days until school starts up again.

Update from the sickhouse
March 1, 2007
Aw hon – I’m living the same life. Kiddo too sick to go to playschool but running about the house like nothing is wrong. Sigh. I’m trying my level best to dodge the inevitable virus but at times I think I should just lick the doorknobs and get it over with. Hugs and wishes for a speedy recovery.
Sounds like it is a good thing we decided to do Easter break instead of Winter break..we have the sickies too!
