In the months since he started going to pre-school, Tage’s use of Swedish has fairly exploded. This afternoon Olof’s sister and brother-in-law were here to work on some computer stuff and play the Wii, and Tage was talking up a storm in Swedish, using dozens of words that I didn’t even know he knew. At one point he and I were alone in the room and I took the opportunity to give him a little positive reinforcement.
Me: You know what? You’re getting really good at speaking Swedish.
Tage: Yes. And mom?
Me: What?
Tage: I’m also going to get big and drive a car.
That is too funny 🙂
Today Swedish, tomorrow the highway!
