Just a short entry tonight, because it’s almost eleven o’clock (egad, how did that happen?!), and I want to go to bed as soon as possible.
I took the Svenska B test today (apparently SAS-B is more or less the same as Svenska B, and the test is exactly the same, which is something I didn’t know until a week or so ago), and it went pretty well, I think. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it might be, which is always a good thing. Now I just have to do a whole load of other coursework sometime in the next three weeks, so I can finish up my official Swedish training (assuming I passed the test, of course).
We also got Lydia’s glove back today, which was a victory. I sent a note with Lydia to give to her teacher this morning, and she came home this afternoon with both of her own gloves. She also said that Casper was happy that the hole in his glove was fixed and he said “thank you to your mom,” which was nice. Now I feel sort of bad for him, because a seven-year-old boy shouldn’t have to be happy or grateful to have whole gloves (of course, he shouldn’t be taking other kids’ gloves, either, so who knows what’s going on with him — I do have to say, though, that he’s a pretty nice kid for the most part, and as long as I have the gloves I paid for, I’m a happy mother!).
Anyway, that’s all I have for this evening … now to try to drag my husband away from his computer so we can go to bed!
