I curse these trees every day, but I guess I don’t know how lucky I really am. Last night I slept in a long sleeve winter nightgown covered with a down comforter and the windows closed.
And I know it is hot out there…I feel it whenever I go past the trashcans! LOL! But once I come back I feel like I’ve walked into a different time or place. It’s almost spooky.
I soooooo envy your trees right now! It’s been 28-30C *inside* our house for the past few days … I’m about to lose my mind!
Oh good grief! No wonder you are going nuts! You are living in a sauna! If you weren’t so near your due date I would say come stay with me for a few weeks to escape the heat. Though that sounds funny “fly south to escape the heat.”

I totally understand where you’re coming from. Just almost three short years ago we were having our worst heat wave in years and I was HUGE (10+ lb babies tend to do that to you!). Hubby felt so sorry for me he first rented, then bought an air conditioner. I sat in front of that thing for the last few weeks. When I went into labour (finally!), hubby and midwife huddled under blankets while I sweated away in a thin cotton nightshirt. Take care and I hope things cool off for you soon!
