I finally made my first trip of the year to my favorite plant nursery, and they had so many pelargoniums I wanted that I had a hard time narrowing it down to three. Actually, my first pick was a no-brainer — they had the Orange Rosenknopp that I’ve been coveting for months and months and months! Choosing the other two, though, was no easy feat.
Check behind the cut for pictures!
I don’t know the name of this one–it might be Fireworks Cherry White–but it’s a lovely stjärnpelargon that I couldn’t resist:

This is another stjärnpelargon, Stellar Cathy. I’m told it will have salmon-colored blooms:

This is a cutting that I bought on the auction site Tradera. I don’t know its name, either, but I liked the look of it:

These two I bought a couple of weeks ago. They’re English pelargoniums, and again, I don’t know their names:

And lastly, because I can’t resist showing it off, too, an African Daisy that Olof bought for me a few days ago:

Your flowers are beautiful. Are pelargoniums from the family of geraniums? They look so healthy and gorgeous. I was reading your 100 things, and though I am much older than you, I really identified with your “things”, down to also collecting teapots and creamers. Nice to see your blog, and thanks for letting us come in and “visit”.
Hi!
Apparently what we call geraniums are part of the pelargonium family (I’m no expert, so don’t quote me on that!). In any case, I really like them. 🙂
Thanks for checking out my blog — I’m glad you like it. Whenever you’re in my neck of the woods next we should absolutley get together!
