I have a new hero and her name is Debbie! The other day, when I bemoaned my lack of a good recipe for chicken and peapods, she came to my rescue and told me everything I needed to know. Though I wasn’t one-hundred percent confident that I would get a good result, I gathered my courage this evening and whipped up a batch (well, two, actually — one with chicken for Olof and one without for me) for dinner, and the first bite made me a believer. It was sooooo good, and tasted exactly like what I’d been missing. In retrospect, having eaten and enjoyed Debbie’s Chinese cooking more than once, I should just have asked for her help in the first place.
