Sub-zero

My hands are so cold I can hardly type. I wanted to get at least 2500 words written on my book tonight (I’ve fallen behind again, I’m ashamed to admit), but my resolve petered out after 1423. It’s just too, too cold in here to stay much longer. Winter has finally arrived up here, and it’s currently -20°C with a think blanket of snow outside. I think everyone knows by now how I feel about that, so I’ll skip the commentary.

In addition to writing on my book, I did write my Gravy Train article for Mosaic Minds. It was woefully late, but not as lated as my All Booked Up article is going to be, I’m afraid. I simply must write that tomorrow. Once NaNoWriMo and the holidays are over, I really need to be a lot better about staying on task where MM is concerned.

Now, though, I’m going to go up to my bedroom and turn the radiators up as high as they’ll go before burrowing into my bed for the night. If only I could hibernate through this wintry hell.

  1. I like winter until after Christmas. By then I’d much rather have spring right away. 🙂
For now I’m liking the snow and the cold, but then we only have -11C here right now.

Oh, and I have some new puppy photos over at Medoue… 😉
