Picture-less

I’m afraid our digital camera has bitten the dust, which is a double disappointment just now because I had a great post all lined up but it won’t work without a digital photo visual aid. Curse the luck.

I suppose now we’ll have to buy a new camera, because Lord knows my life would scarcely be worth living if I didn’t have the ability to post digital photos at a moment’s notice. Judging from the way that I keep pausing in my typing to try the camera “just one more time,” I’d say that I’m smack dab in the middle of the denial stage.

As much as I’d love to have a new camera–I hate to speak ill of the dead, but our dearly departed camera is awfully clunky and old-fashioned compared to those wielded by our friends and family–I despair of actually getting one anytime soon because we’re worse than broke and there’s no way my husband, who loves technology above all else, could be satisfied with anything less than the best (read “most expensive”).

Woe is me.
