You know, being the mother of a teenage daughter is hard. Seriously, really, really hard. I won’t elaborate much here, in order to protect the not-so-innocent, but man … I was not ready for all of this. Nothing terribly alarming is going on — it’s pretty much your “normal” thirteen-year-old sort of stuff — but I am so, so tired of the emotional turmoil.

I feel your pain already.
Oh man. The 12 year old isn’t mine, but am basically her 2nd mother. I. don’t. want. 12. year. olds…ever! They are really mean! Good luck, and let’s hope they grow out of it SOON!
They will grow up and say things like “I can’t believe I was so mean to my mother!” Keep your eyes on the prize.
