We’re having some sort of heat wave here — the temperatures have been around 10°C for the past couple of days. Yes, that’s ten degrees above<\/i> zero. It’s positively balmy. Actually, it’s not as nice as it might be because the high temperatures are turning our mountains of accumulated snow into a sloppy, slushy mess, and navigating the streets and sidewalks in their present state is no mean feat. <\/p>\n
As I mentioned I would do, I went to Helana’s house yesterday for fika<\/i> with her and Debbie. We had delicious cinnamon buns (yes, Helena, they were<\/i> good!) and cheesecake, and I even came home with leftovers which were much appreciated by my family. I had such a good time yesterday. I always laugh so hard when we’re together. I need to get out more often (although I must<\/i> get my Swedish driver’s license, because taking the bus is just no fun).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
