Olof was on his way out the door this morning to run to the store for some eggs when he turned and called back, suddenly, “Bring the camera, quick!”<\/p>\n

I hastened to do as bidden, and when I got out to the porch he pointed out that which he wanted photographed.\u00a0 I knew at once that the kids would want to see it as well, so I opened the door and called in, “Petra! Tage!\u00a0 Lydia!\u00a0 Come out here, now!”<\/p>\n

They came running, as did Helena, who didn’t want to miss the hubbub.\u00a0 As soon as they were all outside, Tage saw Farmor and Farfar turn into the driveway at Olof’s sister’s house and he asked, excitedly, “Can I go tell Farmor and Farfar to come see?”<\/p>\n

I said that he could, as long as he looked both ways before he crossed the streets and held Petra’s hand (there was no way she was letting him go without taking her along).\u00a0 He agreed, and off they went.\u00a0 Within a matter of minutes, they were on their way back home with not only their grandparents in tow, but also an intrigued cousin.\u00a0 From a different direction, Olof’s brother-in-law and another cousin, as well as a little friend from the neighborhood, approached to check out the commotion.<\/p>\n

What, you wonder, could cause such a stir?\u00a0 Why, nothing other than this little ball of cute, making its way across the unmown lawn:<\/p>\n
