After waiting for more than three months, Helena<\/a> got notification today–Sweden’s national day–that her application for Swedish citizenship was approved.\u00a0 Olof and I decided that a celebration was in order, so we made a little impromptu dinner party with German shepherd pie<\/a> (one of Helena’s favorites), and a decadent chocolate cake<\/a> for dessert.\u00a0 Grattis, Helena!<\/em><\/p>\n
