Wouldn&#8217;t it have been just as easy for him to puke this morning, before I had mopped, thereby saving me the trouble of having to mop the same floor twice in one day?  Actually, it seems as though everyone in this family, with the exceptions of Mette and the cats, has conspired to dirty up all the surfaces I cleaned today.  When I asked Lydia to pick up her watercolors and the accompanying clutter from the kitchen table, she said, &#8220;I&#8217;m sick of doing your work!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Excuse me?<\/p>\n<p>I can cut Tage and Asbj\u00f8rn a little slack, since neither of them really understands messes or the work that I have to do to clean up after them, but sometimes I think that Lydia and Olof honestly believe that I have nothing better to do with my time than to tidy up their messes.
