People keep saying, “Oh, it’s not long now,” or “Wow, so soon!” and all that comes to my mind is, “Yeah, easy for you to say.” The last month of pregnancy is the longest, by far.<\/p>\n
Of course, I know from experience that once I’m on the other side it will seem as though these weeks flew by, so I’m trying not to wish them away too fervently. Also, it just occurred to me yesterday that I haven’t even started digging out the tiny baby clothes and gear and getting them in order — I should probably do that before I declare myself officially “ready.”<\/p>\n
Anyway, to mark the day, I’ll finally post a belly shot. It’s a different sort of picture — instead of the usual profile pic, I decided on a “view from above,” sort of thing, showing you what I see where my feet used to be. I hesitated a bit about the “revealing” nature of the picture, but after experimenting a bit with cropping and whatnot in Photoshop, I decided that my boobs really do need to be in there, for perspective’s sake.
