Tage is screaming his head off, and neither of us has any idea why. I think he’s probably just over-tired, but, like all little kids, refuses to realize that and just go to sleep. I have often wished that I could go to sleep more or less whenever and wherever I wanted to, but the little ones that have that as an option never seem to realize what a boon it is. What’s that they say about youth being wasted on the young? I think the sleep thing is one example of that phenomenon.<\/p>\n
I’m still sick and am getting pretty tired of it. We had a Christmas celebration down at Olof’s parents’ house this afternoon\/evening with the sister and brother-in-law who aren’t going to be there tomorrow, and though it was nice, I was so ready to come home after a few hours. I could feel my head getting progressively stuffier and my throat getting achier and my mood going rapidly downhill because of that. I’m going to head to bed as soon as I possibly can, even though Olof wants to stay up and finish wrapping presents.
