I’m trying to cultivate the habit of drinking red wine, because it’s good for my heart and, let’s face it, it’s terribly sophisticated. Excepting a few crazy months the summer after I turned 21, I’ve never been much of a drinker–and I’ve never really cared for wine–so I’m prepared for this to be a bit of a challenge. Last night I had a tiny little glass, and that went well enough, so I decided a repeat was in order. Olof brought me a glass while we watched Gray’s Anatomy<\/em> (we’re way, waaaaayyyy behind all y’all in this U.S., so please, no spoilers!), and I downed it, with perhaps a tad more haste than true sophistication demands.<\/p>\n It went straight to my head. And stayed there for an hour, at least.<\/p>\n Yes, that’s right … I got tipsy on one glass of wine.
