When I packed for our recent trip to Uppsala, I decided not to take shampoo because our bags were already full to bursting and Olof assured me that the hotel would have shampoo. Upon our arrival I discovered that what they had was a multi-purpose “hair and body wash,” something that works fine for short hair but would do a number on Lydia’s and my longer, more luxurious tresses. The first chance I got, I hit a nearby grocery store for some real shampoo. The store was a discount-type affair with a pretty limited selection, but that was no biggie since I’m really not too particular about brands. What we ended up with was this:<\/p>\n
