I rarely get sick and when I do, it’s usually over pretty quickly. When I started feeling a tell-tale throat tickle on Monday evening, I expected to spend Tuesday with a sore throat and then to wake up Wednesday back to my normal self. Occassionally, though–say once a year or even once every other year–I get attacked by some tougher germ that goes after me with a vengeance. Guess this bug is one of that kind.<\/p>\n
Since Tuesday I’ve spent every day getting progressively sicker. My head hurts and my throat is raw and painful and I can hardly talk and now I’ve started to get stuffed up, too. I don’t even have the respite of sleep, because even though Olof is wonderful about taking the kids so I can rest, all my various aches and pains keep me awake and even if I had some NyQuil I couldn’t take it because I’m nursing.
