I could claim that I’m making up for two days with no entry by posting twice today, but that would be a lie. The truth is that I’m procrastinating. I should be writing a book review of Alkemisten<\/i> for my Swedish class, but every time I try I just draw a blank. I don’t know why I’m having such a hard time with it. I think it’s probably because I’m used to the words flowing fairly easily in English, and I get discouraged pretty quickly when I have to struggle for words the way I often do when writing (or speaking) Swedish. I hate it, too, when I reread what I have written and it sounds so simplistic and childish and not at all like what I would have written in English.
