I typed a whole long entry earlier today, then lost it just as I was saving when my toe pushed the toggle switch on the outlet strip and turned off my machine. We really should move that thing. Anyway, what I wrote about then isn’t interesting anymore, and I’m rather at a loss for subject matter now.<\/p>\n
The major league baseball playoffs start tonight, and I am almost tempted to stay up and watch the Braves play. The game doesn’t start until 2am, though, which is too late to stay up, really. If it started at midnight, or even 1am, I’d probably give it a go, but 2am … eesh.<\/p>\n
I just ordered a bunch of shirts online, because I’m so tired of the stuff I have (mostly t-shirts of Olof’s and the odd top from this or that thrift store). I hardly ever buy anything new for myself, and I figured it was about time. I know that charge accounts are a total racket and I usually try to avoid using them, but for times like these, when I don’t have a big chunk of money lying around but need to buy something, they’re pretty nice to have. Of course I may be singing a different tune when the monthly bills start rolling in, but by then it will be too late and at least I’ll have something decent to wear while I’m lamenting those high interest rates.<\/p>\n
