The one eye is obviously just glowing in the flash, but the red one really does look like that.<\/p>\n Rest assured that she’s not in nearly so bad off as she looks. Yesterday I took her in for another check of her slow-healing eye injury, and the vet decided to stitch shut her third eyelid for a week to see if that will speed things up some. It sounded freaky to me, but I trust our vet, so I gave the okay (that’s not to suggest that I didn’t do some extensive googling as soon as I got home — apparently it really isn’t an uncommon treatment).<\/p>\n I’m really hoping this does the trick, finally, because I think we’re all pretty ready to be done with this.
