After being out for over a week, Petra went back to school on Tuesday. Wednesday evening Tage and Brynja started looking pale and peaky, and by yesterday afternoon there was no doubt that they’d gotten a good dose of chicken pox germs from their sister. They’re both well and truly covered now, and will probably be home most of next week.<\/p>\n
Yrsa was feverish and cranky last night, and I was hoping that she’d be spotty this morning, but no such luck yet. I really hope she gets it this round and we don’t have to wait another two weeks.<\/p>\n
Lydia had chicken pox when we still lived in the States, so she’s safe from this outbreak, but she’s not entirely unscathed. What we initially thought was a burn on her chin — her dance program performed with torches last weekend and she said that a spark had his her face — turns out to be impetigo.
