I’m more nervous than I like to admit, both that I won’t and that I will<\/i> get in. I do want to make the cut, of course, but it would mean a lot of big changes for all of us.<\/p>\n Everyone I talk to seems to think there’s no question I’ll get in, but I’ve been fooled by that kind of thinking before. Way back when I was still an undergrad I was given to believe that I more or less had my choice of grad schools, only to be turned down by the one program I really wanted to be part of. That rejection really threw me for a loop, so I’m trying to be more realistic and better prepared this time.
