I have been on an absolute book-buying binge lately. I usually buy one or two books a month, probably, but in the past six weeks or so I must have bought a dozen or more. Every time I turn around, it seems, someone is talking up the great book they’ve just read, and I find myself powerless to resist ordering it. This wouldn’t necessarily be a problem — books are pretty much the only thing I don’t ever regret having purchased — but I have almost no time to read lately, especially now that Olof’s gone back to work. There seems to be some sort of inverse correlation, though, between the amount of free time I have and the number of books I buy, so the stacks on my bookshelves keep getting higher and higher.
