Olof’s and my flight leaves from the Skellefteå airport in just over twelve hours. We’ll be in Stockholm from eight o’clock Saturday morning until five o’clock Monday afternoon, and we’ll be free as birds since the kids are staying with Olof’s parents. We’ll hardly know what to do with ourselves (actually, I think lots of uninterrupted sleep is on the agenda!). <\/p>\n
This will be the first time we’ve both left Tage and I have to admit that it’s a bit nervous-making. Intellectually I know that everything will be fine and that he’ll love spending all that time with Farmor and Farfar, but I can’t help feeling a not-so-little pang every time I think about it. Our early flight makes it a little bit worse, because we’ll have to leave at six in the morning and then he’ll wake up to both of us gone. That’s causing me no small amount of guilt. <\/p>\n
All guilt aside, though, I’m very, very excited for the two of us to be able to get away together, not to mention the fact that we’ll be seeing Simon and Garfunkel LIVE in less than 48 hours! This trip will be putting a fairly sizable dent in our already-beleaguered budget, so I’m extremely grateful to have a husband who understands that I simply must<\/i> see Simon and Garfunkel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
