The skies were clear and blue this morning, and the temperature was reasonable, so it seemed as good a time as any to get out of the house and try to shake this cabin fever. We couldn’t do anything too involved, considering both the state I’m in and the bad cold that’s weighing Olof down, but we did manage to get ourselves to town for a big grocery shop and and a fast-food lunch with the younger kids (the payoff has to be much more significant than a burger and fries for Lydia to deign to venture out with the rest of us). <\/p>\n
Olof and I came home exhausted, but sadly, being out and about didn’t do a thing to diminish the kids’ energy levels. If anything, they were crazier than ever this afternoon and evening. Poor things, it can’t be much fun living with parents who mostly just want to sit around and moan and groan, trying to one-up each other with various aches, pains, and discomforts. Here’s hoping it won’t be too, too long before we’re all back up to normal speed again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
