I had an appointment with my midwife this afternoon, hopefully the last one before this baby is on the outside. We did schedule another for January 11, and all I have to say about that is that you don’t want to know me if I’m still pregnant by the time that date rolls around. <\/p>\n
Olof’s mom had come over to stay with the younger kids while we were gone, so after the appointment we did a little shopping and had some lunch. We mostly just browsed and picked up a few odds and ends, but we did find a good deal on kids’ ice skates, so we came home with a pair each for Tage and Petra. Petra hasn’t been on skates before, but she’s been itching to give it a try, so I’m thinking a trip with her up to the rink or out to the beach is in Olof’s near future.<\/p>\n
Otherwise, not much to report. Mostly I’m just sitting here counting down the hours until New Year’s and hoping this baby has the good grace to appear as soon as the last grain of 2010 has dropped through the hourglass.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
