The weather gods must have sensed that I was reaching the end of my rope, because they sent down a couple of really gorgeous days. There was maybe just a little too much wind for my taste, but it was warm enough this afternoon that Olof and I drank our (iced!) coffee out on the porch and I stayed outside with the little girls for a couple of hours, alternately reading and puttering in the yard while they played in the sandbox. And Petra wore shorts and Brynja wore a sundress, and it was all just about perfect — unfortunately, dozens upon dozens of mosquitoes agreed, and we all bear the marks of their satisfaction.
