So it was my birthday yesterday (I turned 37, a number it’s taking me a little while to get my head around), and among all the gifts and greetings I received from near and far, this one from my friend, Debbie, was certainly the most appreciated by my and my family’s tastebuds:<\/p>\n

That there is a plate of handmade spring rolls, prepared especially for me and delivered to my door by the most awesome cook I know. I seriously cannot describe how delicious these things are. We put away over a dozen of them in five minutes flat, and I think all of us were left wanting more. And the best thing?
