I know parents always say this, and I&#8217;ve said it before myself, but I just have no idea where the time goes.  How can it possibly be two years ago that she was born?!<\/p>\n<p>I may have mentioned earlier that I had ambitious plans for her birthday cake, and I feel like I&#8217;ve been doing nothing but cake-decorating for days now.  Due mostly to space constraints, we had two parties for her, one yesterday with my friend, Debbie, and her family, and one today with Olof&#8217;s family, and because I was so taken with my cake idea, I made one for each day.  Parents of pre-schoolers may recognize Toodles (or &#8220;Tingest,&#8221; as he&#8217;s called in Sweden) from the <i>Mickey Mouse Clubhouse<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>This is the cake from yesterday, which I think was the better-looking of the two.  We ended up leaving the ears mostly untouched, so I recycled them for today, re-doing only the big round part.  It looked a little funky where I attached the parts, but I don&#8217;t think anyone noticed (even so, I&#8217;m not posting a picture &#8212; don&#8217;t want to ruin anyone&#8217;s image of me as a master pastry chef!).  The picture of Brynja is also from yesterday.  I&#8217;m not sure if we got a good picture today, what with having set her hair on fire during the candle bit and all.  (Don&#8217;t worry, she&#8217;s fine.
